We believe it’s never too early or too late for a Chinese student to begin strengthening his or her experiences that will be showcased in a Boarding High School application. For this reason, we suggest that you begin working with our team in the Chinese student’s seventh or early part of eight grade year.
Students and families applying to boarding schools find starting a year in advance is extremely helpful However, we work with students and families whenever they are ready.
8. How many hours of Admissions Consulting will my family need?
Because different Chinese students and families have different needs, we offer several flexible hourly packages for our Chinese clients. They are found on the corresponding pages as well as the Pricing Section of our website.
During our initial virtual consultation, we’ll ask about which aspects of the process you’d like our help and we will use our time together accordingly. In the initial consultation, we can talk with you more specifically about your goals and give a general estimate of time that you’ll likely need to accomplish them. We know standardized testing (SAT) is an important aspect of the admissions process for University and High School Boarding admissions, and we work with our Chinese students to create the right testing plan for them.
While our US China Ivy League Admissions Consultants do not provide tutoring services themselves, we do have several tutors that are University Professors here in the US that speak Mandarin with whom we partner. These tutors are all closely vetted, trained, and managed to ensure a seamless fit. They work closely with our Admissions Consultants to help Chinese students achieve their goals and minimize stress. In addition, we help students decide which test to take and when to take it and provide advice on finding effective study resources.
10. Do you only work with Chinese students applying to Ivy League and other top-ranked schools?
We pride ourselves on finding the best fit for each individual Chinese student. We help our Chinese students successfully apply and get admitted to their dream schools. These schools may be prestigious schools that are not Ivy League but are found in the US & Canada.

We offer a summer tour program for Chinese students to see either Universities or private Boarding Schools. These tours are around the US and are in two formats. The first format is for those students from China that are entering High School so they can tour the private boarding schools. The second format is for those Chinese high school students who want to attend University here in the US.
13. I want my son or daughter to study for the SAT or have an intensive in person English Program in the US during the summer. How can you help us?
​Each summer we have a summer camp for English & Math in person either in Los Angeles or New York City. The summer camp is either two weeks in length or six weeks.
